Tingkat Keberhasilan Inseminasi Buatan Pada Sapi Indukan Rakyat di Kecamatan Montasik Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract


This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the success rate of Artificial Insemination (AI) based on Non Return Rate, Service Per Conception, Conception Rate and Calving Rate. This research was carried out in Montasik District, Aceh Besar Regency from January to June 2023. The research method used was Purposive Sampling (purposeful selection of respondents using certain criteria), data collection was carried out by interviews using (questionnaires). The population in this study was 109 breeders and AI acceptors with a sample of 191 cows. The research results show that the success rate of Artificial Insemination (IB) based on the Non Return Rate (NRR) is 50.2%, this value already shows a good number (Normal), Service Per Conception (S/C) 1.62 is a good number, as a good S/C measure is 1.6-2.0, the Conception Rate with a percentage of 50.2% is also a good number and the Calving Rate of 97.9% also shows a very good percentage.
