HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN STATUS GIZI ANAK BALITA DI DESA LAMTEUBA DROE KECAMATAN SEULIMEUM KABUPATEN ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Good nutritional status reflects the existence of quality human resources which can be realized through food intake to fulfill the nutritional needs required by the body which is the main capital for the development and growth of toddlers. Children under five who have better quality care will minimize the number of morbidities in children under five and the nutritional status of children under five will be better, when parents, especially mothers, play a role in nutritional status and reduce the number of morbidities in children under five. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between parenting patterns with the nutritional status of children under five in Lamteuba Droe village, Seulimeum subdistrict, Aceh Besar district. This research is an analytical research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all 115 toddlers from January to March using a Simple Random Sampling sampling process using the Lottery Technique system is 46 sampling. The analysis technique was carried out using the Chi-Square test. The research results obtained were that there was a significant relationship between parenting patterns and statistical nutritional status with a p-value of 0.039 (p<0.05) in Lamteuba Droe Village, Seulimeum District, Aceh Besar Regency. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between parenting patterns and the nutritional status of children under five. It is hoped that respondents will pay attention to parenting patterns that are appropriate to the child's growth and development stages.
