TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG MIOMA UTERI PADA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN DOKTER UNIVERSITAS ABULYATAMA

Abstract

Abstract: Uterine myoma is a benign tumor originating fram the uterine muscle or connective tissue that grows on the wall of the uterus or In the uterus. Uterine myoma is also called fibromyoma, leiomyoma, or fibroid. The purpose uf this study was to determine the level of knowledge agout uterine myoma of Batch 2014 Students at Study Program of Medical Education in Faculty of Medicine of Abulyatama University. This research was a descriptive research. The research was conducted an July 2-9, 2016. The population was 225 students of batch 2014 in the Faculty of Medicine of Abulyatama University and samples were 61 students. The samples were chosen by using simple random sampling system. The result of study on G1 students shawed that the level of knuwledge of students on Uterine myoma was in good category with the frequency of 17 people (27.954), in sufficient category with the frequency of 36 people (59.0%), and in poor category with the frequency of & people (13.1%).Based on the results of the study it was showed that the majority of the students had sufficient knowledge about the uterine mynama that is 36 people (59.05%).
