FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEJADIAN MIOPI PADA MURID SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS NEGERI 3 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Abstract: Miopi was ranked first as the refractive disorder that most suffered by the world population. Patients with miopi most often found in developing countries that is almost 90%. The purpose of this study to determine the factors that affect the myopia incident in students of State Senior High School 3 Banda Aceh. This study was an ana- lytic observational study with cross sectional design conducted at State Senior High School 3 Banda Aceh in 86 students who fulfilled inclusion and exclusion criteria were taken based on slovin formula and used stratified sampling technique. Data were processed by using chi-square test at 95% significance level (α = 0,05). This study showed results based on computer habits there is an influence on the inciidence myopia (P = 0.005), based on watching television there is an influence on the inciidence myopia (P = 0.017) and based on book reading factors there is an influence on the inciidence myopia (P = 0.030). The conclusion of this research is that there is influence of television watching factor, computer use and reading book close to the myopia occurrence at students of State Senior High School 3 Banda Aceh 2017
