Gambaran Persiapan Laktasi pada Ibu Hamil di Poli Kebidanan Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh

Abstract

Lactation preparation for pregnant women is an effort made by pregnant women to facilitate exclusive breastfeeding, including efforts to find information on exclusive breastfeeding, nutrition preparation, rest preparation, preparation of medicines and breast care for breastfeeding. Preliminary studies on pregnant women found 60% had not prepared exclusive breastfeeding which could affect the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of lactation preparations in pregnant women at the midwifery clinic at the regional hospital in Dr. Zainoel abidin banda Aceh. This type of research is descriptive exploratory with a cross sectional study design. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling, data collection was carried out on 05 September 09, 2016 primarily using the questionnaire guidelines. The population was all pregnant women who visited the midwifery poly with 96 respondents. The results showed 58 (60%) pregnant women were less prepared for lactation preparation during pregnancy. it can be concluded that in general all sub-variables are in the category of not enough except drugs are in sufficient category, namely inadequate nutrition 59 respondents (61%), inadequate rest 57 respondents (59%), medicines are enough 69 respondents ( 72%), poor personal hygiene breast 52 respondents (54%). From the results of this study pregnant women are expected to be able to prepare lactation preparation during pregnancy and during breastfeeding later to be able to produce breast milk optimally.
