Ayo Kuatkan Anak Kita Dengan Imunisasi Wajib di Puskesmas Kuta Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract

Immunization is a process to form and increase the body's immunity against a certain infectious disease. The way to trigger this immunity is by administering a vaccine. To increase knowledge, it is necessary to conduct health education about immunization in the working area of the Kuta Baro Health Center, Aceh Besar District. The aim of the research is to increase the knowledge of mothers through health education about immunization. This research method is lecture and question and answer. The results of this study are that mothers in the village understand the importance of giving children complete immunizations so that children are protected from disease while preventing disease transmission to other children. What can be suggested from the results of this activity is the provision or additional knowledge about immunization to be carried out in each posyandu activity held in the village so that it is more focused and can be maximized.
