Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine strategies for increasing employee work motivation at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Banda Aceh ULP Merduati Kota. PT. PLN (Persero) is one of the state-owned companies (BUMN) and the only state-owned company engaged in the supply of electricity. PT. PLN (Persero) serves the needs of the community in the field of services namely installing electricity meters such as (new pairs, changes in power, and migration). This type of research in this research is research about descriptive research and the method used in this study is to use the SWOT analysis method. The results showed that the strength and opportunity factors were average (Good), while the weakness and threat factors were average (High). 1. Strategies that create high employee performance can be done with various aspects including increasing work motivation and increasing employee welfare such as salary income, benefits, and performance evaluation, which are often used as a way to improve performance. 2. Providing education and training for employees by providing employee motivation at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Banda Aceh ULP in the city is expected to provide satisfaction for employees so that employees are passionate in carrying out the tasks assigned / charged to him.
