Analisis Pola Tanam dan Korelasinya Terhadap Pendapatan Usahatani di Kecamatan Indrapuri Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract

Determination of the right cropping pattern, for farmers is very important, because it is closely related to the level of income obtained by farmers. Besides that, it can also increase land use as much as possible, so that the sustainability and fertility of the land can be continuously maintained. This study aims to determine the differences in farm income between those using the rice-rice and rice-soybean cropping patterns. This research was conducted in Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar District. The research method used is the survey method, the technique of taking the sample farmers is done by simple random sampling. The size of each sample is taken as much as ten percent of the number of farmers who seek farming. The results showed that, Benefit Cost Ratio of rice-soybean cropping patterns was 1.96. While the rice-paddy cropping pattern obtained Benefit Cost Ratio of 1.65. Thus the rice-soybean cropping pattern provides greater benefits compared to the rice-paddy cropping patterns by farmers as the organizer of farming activities (B / C ³1). The results of different tests (t-test), showed that the income of farmers using rice-soybean cropping patterns had a significant effect or was different from the income of farmers using rice-paddy cropping patterns.
