Kajian Uji Kelayakan dan Kendala Usahatani di Kebun Agrowisata Tanaman Melon di Gampong Lam Manyang Ujung Pancu Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract

This research aims to examine the feasibility and constraints faced by melon farming. This research was conducted out in August – October 2021 at the Melon Plant Agrotourism Garden in Gampong Lam Manyang, Kecamatan Peukan Bada, Aceh Besar District. Melon production obtained in the research area is 10,800 Kg/Ha with a selling price of Rp. 8,000/Kg with revenue received of Rp. 86,400,000 with a profit of Rp. 32,801,000.3 with an R/C ratio of Rp.1,43. %, which means that melon farming in Lam Manyang Village is profitable (feasible) with a production BEP of 7,549.8 BEP, a price of Rp 5,592.4 and an ROI of 43%. In melon farming, the obstacles are pests, diseases and not optimal marketing
