Analisis Respon Petani terhadap Pengolahan Serai Wangi di Kecamatan Dabun Gelang Kabupaten Gayo Lues

Abstract

The establishment of new land for the Serai Wangi plantation in Gayo Lues Regency as a result of the relationship between economic analysis and the response of farmers to a business being carried out. This can be seen from the farmers again choosing Citronella as their main crop, as a result of the price of Citronella Oil which tends to be stable in the last two years. Identify the problem, Do experience, income and education affect the response of citronella farmers in Dabun Gelang District, Gayo Lues Regency. This research was conducted in Dabun Bracelet District, Gayo Lues Regency. This determination is done by “purposive sampling”. The population in this study were all farmers who cultivated citronella farming in Dabun Gelang District, Gayo Lues Regency. The method used in this research is the "survey" method. Sampling technique 'simple random sampling' as many as 30 farmers. The method of hypothesis analysis uses a logistic binary regression analysis model. From the results using binary logistic regression, it can be stated that three variables were analyzed to determine the factors that influence the response of citronella farmers. The results showed that the variables of experience, income and education together had a significant effect on the response of citronella farmers. Likewise for each independent variable (experience, income and education) affect the dependent variable (Y) the response of citronella farmers.
