PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT GAMPONG LAMBRO BILEU TERHADAP POLA MEMBUANG SAMPAH SEMBARANGAN

Abstract

The emergence of slum settlements in urban areas is a problem that is often faced by a number of big cities in Indonesia. The lack of provision of facilities and infrastructure in slum settlements is generally motivated by problems with the legality of these settlements, which results in a further decline in the quality of the settlement environment. For example, with the unavailability of waste facilities, people will tend to pollute settlements with garbage so that waste generation will be piled up in every corner of the settlement. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of the people of Lambro Bileu Village, Kuta Baro District through knowledge training on proper waste management. The understanding of PKK women in Gampong Lambro Bileu village, Kuta Baru sub-district can be increased through the provision of knowledge of waste management
