PEMERIKSAAN PAP-SMEAR GRATIS DI LINGKUNGAN UNIVERSITAS ABULYATAMA ACEH

Abstract

Cervical cancer prevention efforts need to be carried out in the community, especially in Women of Reproductive Age (WUR). PAP SMEAR Education and Examination for WUS lecturers at Abulyatama University is an easy, cheap, simple, safe, and accurate way to detect the growth of cells that will become cancerous, to find out whether the cells in the cervix are normal or not, to find out the level of malignancy of cervical cancer . A TEAM of community service lecturers and students carries out activities in the form of outreach related to LAP SMEAR Education and Examination to lecturers in the WUS category. The socialization activity was carried out on September 14 2019 at Abulyatama Lampoh Keude University, Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar. The benefits of this socialization aim to add insight and educate lecturers to understand earlier the symptoms of cervical cancer. The activity support team consisted of nursing lecturers, Puekesmas Kuta Baro and nursing students. In general, this community service activity aims to detect cervical cancer as early as possible through the PAP-SMEAR examination.
