PENGARUH PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TENTANG HIPERTENSI TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN RESIKO TERJADINYA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS SUKAMAKMUR ACEH BESAR

Abstract

Abstract: The increasing prevalence of hypertension poses a serious threat to Indonesia's health development. The severity of hypertension is also influenced by different levels of understanding. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence health education about hypertension to knowledge of risk of hypertension in patient at Sukamakmur Public Health Center of Aceh Besar. The type of research used in this research is descriptive correlative. Data collection method used in this research is crossectional study. Population in this research is all patient of hypertension in work area of Public Health Center of Sukamakmur Aceh Besar. Researchers took a sample of 44 respondents using nonprobability sampling method with consecutive sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires that have been prepared and tested the validity and reliability (r count> 0.6391 and alpha cronbracth value> 0.7). After the data tested its normality using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (p value .568> 0,05) then continued with data analysis. The statistical test using chi square obtained p-value 0,004 <value α 0,05 meaning that there is influence of hypertension counseling to knowledge of hypertension risk of hypertension patient at Puskesmas Suka Makmur Aceh Besar
