HUBUNGAN MEROKOK TERHADAP DISPEPSIA PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 8 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Abstract: The thing that concerns is the age of smoking which every year gets younger. When people first began to dare to smoke usually start junior high school then now can be found elementary school children have started there who smoke secretly. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation of smoking to dyspepsia in grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh in 2017. This research is Analytical with population in SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh is 733 people. Sampling using sampling formula then obtained a sample amounted to 72 students in SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Data were collected directly from the respondents by spreading the questionnaire. The results are processed by computer and presented in the form of tables of frequency distribution and cross tabulation. The study was conducted in May 2017. Majority results did not experience dyspepsia in grade XI students in SMAN 8 Banda Aceh as many as 56 respondents (77.8%). The majority of non-smoking class XI students in SMAN 8 Banda Aceh were 60 respondents (83.3%). P-value 0.001 <0.05, there is a significant relationship between the smoking relationship to dyspepsia in grade XI students SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh 2017. There is a relationship between smoking and incidence of dyspepsia in grade XI students at SMAN 8 Banda Aceh. Students who smoked 16.7%, students with dyspepsia 22.2%, students who smoked with dyspepsia 58.3%
