UJI DIAGNOSTIK SKOR ALVARADO UNTUK MENDIAGNOSIS APENDISITIS AKUT DI RSUD DR.ZAINOEL ABIDIN

Abstract

Abstract: Acute appendicitis is one of the most common surgical cases in the emergency room and requires rapid
management. A rapid and exact diagnosis can reduce the complications. Alvarado scoring system is one of the
instruments used to diagnose acute appendicitis simple and quickly. This diagnostic test and cross sectional
designed research uses anatomical pathology examination result as a gold standard. This research’s data is based
on the medical records of 51 acute appendicitis patients that have surgery at RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin in 2017.
Thereafter, the data is divided into two groups according to the Alvarado result and analyzed using spss. Fifty-one
were included in this review which is thirty men and twenty one women. The diagnostic score of Alvarado was
calculated, sensitivity 72,7%, specificity 66,7%, predictive positive value 83,9%, predictive negative value 50%.
