Evaluasi Program Rumoh Gizi Gampong Dalam Penanganan Balita Stunting Di Desa Lubuk Sukon Kecamatan Ingin Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2021

Abstract

: Preschool children are a group that is prone to illness, the prevalence of children hospitalized in the last two decades has increased very dramatically. The number of children hospitalized is currently experiencing more serious and complex problems than the incidence of hospitalization in previous years. Data obtained from the Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital in October 2020, the number of children's visits from January to October 2020 reached 676 children. Through observations of 20 children who were treated in the child's room showed anxiety about nursing actions, children's anxiety can be reduced by the application of play therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of coloring play therapy on reducing hospitalization anxiety in children at the Ummi Rosnati Hospital at Pertamedika Ummi in 2021. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study using one group pretest posttest design, the study was conducted on 15 to 18 March 2021. The population in this study were all children who were treated at the Pertamedika Ummi Rosniati Hospital and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique of 20 person. The results showed that the child's anxiety before the intervention of coloring play therapy was mostly in the medium anxiety category as many as 9 respondents (45%), were in the mild anxiety category as many as 6 respondents (30%), most of the children's anxiety after the intervention of coloring play therapy were in the mild anxiety category as many as 8 respondents (40%) and were in the non-anxious category as many as 10 respondents (50%). the effectiveness of coloring play therapy on reducing hospitalization anxiety in children with a p-value = 0.001. It is hoped that this research can provide significant information for parents on steps taken in an effort to reduce anxiety in children by playing coloring, so that the child's psychology is good while carrying out hospitalization
