Hubungan Kelengkapan Imunisasi Dasar dan Penyakit Diare dengan Kejadian Wasting Pada Balita Usia 2-5 Tahun di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kuta Baro Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2020

Abstract

Problems can threaten wasting this mental health, malnutrition and of a impact on a disease. Children suffer wasting weak, has immunity constrained the development of and increases the risk of death, so it needs proper and treatment should be solved soon (urgent). Where the number of wasting of 52 million is as many as 17 million children nutritional status of very lean. The incidence of wasting in Indonesia from 2013 was 6.8%, decreased to 6.7% in 2018. According to the baseline health research 2018 data report for Aceh province, the percentage of incidents wasting in Aceh province was 9.71%. Aceh Besar reported that the percentage of children under five who experienced wasting in 2019 was 10.1%. Many factors related to wasting in toddlers such as completeness of basic immunization, and diarrheal disease. This study research aims to understand the relation of completeness immunization the primary and diarrhea wasting age 2-5 years in the working area of Kuta Baro Public Health Center year 2020. This research uses method cross-sectional. The sample in this study was toddlers aged 2-5 years in the working area of the Kuta Baro Health Center, amounting to 67 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is chi-square. The results of statistical tests showed factors related to wasting in children under five, completeness of basic immunization (p=0.020) and diarrheal disease (p=0.011).
