Hubungan Informasi Konsumsi Junk Food dan Peran Teman Sebaya dengan Kejadian Obesitas pada Remaja Putri di SMA Abulyatama Kabupaten Aceh Besar

Abstract

The prevalence of obesity in adolescents aged 15-19 years in Indonesia has increased every years, the prevalence of obesity in adolescents aged 15-19 years in 2013 was 26,6% and increased again in 2018 by 31%. There are several factors that influence the consumption of junk food on obesity in adolescents, namely factor of knowledge, attitudes, information, peers, pocket money and nutritional status. The purpose of the study was to determine the facrors related to the consumtion of junk food on the incidence of obesity in adolexcent girls at abulyatama high school Aceh Besar district in 2021. This research method is analytic with a cross sectional approach with accidental sampling technique with a sample of 63 young women. The time of this research was carried out on 12 sid 13 july with univariate dan bivariate analysis with chi square test. The result showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the incidence of obesity in adolescent girls with a p value (0,002), there was a relationship between attitudes and the incidence of obesity in female adolescents with a p value (0,003), there was a relationship between information and the incidence of obesity is adolescent girls with p value (0,001), there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, information and the role of peers with obesity in adolescent girls. It is hoped that research sites will carry out policies to increase students knowledge by increasing reading books in the library about junk food and carry out policies to cooperate with the health office to conduct health education.
