Hubungan Pengetahuan Ibu Dengan Sikap Kekerasan Kepada Anak di Kecamatan Meuraxa

Abstract

Violence in children is a trauma, treatment, restriction in the expression of various reasons, intimidation, punishment that resulted in physical and / or mental injury. Data obtained from P2TP2A Kota Madani Banda Aceh in 2016 that violence in children from 2014 to 2016 as many as 101 cases. Based on the distribution of 9 sub-districts of Syiah Kuala, Ulee Kareng, Lueng Bata, Baiturrahman, Kuta Alam, Banda Raya, Jaya Baru, Kuta Raja and Meuraxa from 2014 until 2016. It was found that the district of Meuraxa was the highest case of violent behavior in children Case. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation of knowledge about violent behavior with mother attitude to child in Kecamatan Meuraxa year 2017. This research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional study approach and using data collecting technique by purposive sampling. This research was conducted from 12 January to 21 january 2017. Instrument was in the form of questionnaire. Data analysis was done by univariate and bivariate. The result of univariate research got the result that the knowledge was in high category (59,6%), attitude was in good category (56,4 %%). The result of bivariate research showed that the correlation between knowledge about violent behavior and the mother attitude to children in Kecamatan Meuraxa in 2017 with p-value 0,000 (P <0,05). The researchers suggest that mothers can improve understanding of the behavior of violence and can prevent the occurrence of violent behavior in children.
