Analisis Hubungan Fatwa MUI tentang Vaksin MR terhadap Kelengkapan Imunisasi Difteri Di Kota Banda Aceh

Abstract

Diphtheria is a contagious disease that can be prevented by immunization (PD3I). In the city of Banda Aceh in 2018 there were 30 cases of diphtheria and during 2019 there were 3 cases of diphtheria. The effective prevention of diphtheria is by immunization, however, DPT immunization coverage has not reached the target. This research will examine the factors that influence the perception of mothers and the MUI fatwa about the MR vaccine against the completeness of diphtheria immunization in Banda Aceh City. This research is an analytic observational study using a cross sectional design. The population in this study were 251 people. The number of samples in this study were 72 people. Data collection was carried out from 9 to 19 August 2019. Data analysis was carried out by SEM. The results showed that there was a relationship between perceptions of immunization and completeness of diphtheria immunization in infants in Banda Aceh City. There is a relationship between the perception of the MUI Fatwa about the MR vaccine with the completeness of immunization for diphtheria immunization in infants in Banda Aceh City. The conclusion of this study is that the effect of the perception of the MUI fatwa about the MR vaccine on immunization completeness is 24%. It is necessary to increase outreach to mothers regarding DPT immunization by using various information media as well as increasing collaboration with cross-sectoral, especially community leaders and religious leaders (imam mosques / mubalig) to provide correct understanding of immunization when filling religious lectures or other activities
