PENGARUH PENYULUHAN TENTANG BAHAYA NARKOBA DAN GADGET TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN SISWA DI SMA SWASTA BABUL MAGHFIRAH

Abstract

Abstrack: To prevent the drug usagein teen (adolescents), was done the counseling provision. Expected after a given information, teens can stay away from drugs and will not try touse it. By giving information (counseling), it is expected that teenagers can understand about the dangers of drugs and stay away from drugs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect (influence) of the counseling to the knowledge of early teens about danger of drugs (drugs hazard) in SMAS Babul Maghfirah. Research design used pre-experimental design with the type of one group pre test-post test design. Population is all students of SMAS Babul Maghfirah. And gadget addiction can affect children’s brain development because excessive production dopamine hormone disturbing ripeness function prefrontal cortex namely control emotion, self-control, responsibility, dicision-making, and moral values other. Gadget addiction can generate attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The study aims to investigate the correlation between use of gadget and risk of attention hyperactivity disorder of preschool children in SMAS Babul Maghfirah. The samples in this study were 15 students. Sampling with total sampling. Data obtained were analyzedby using astatistical test of Peired Simple T-Test with significance degree (0.05). The result of research data collection: the most (majority) of respondents knowledge before counseling (information giving) in medium category as many as 4 students (27%), and in high category as many as 11 students (73%), the majority of respondents knowledge after counseling (information giving) in high category as many as 15 students (100%). The resultsof bivariate analysis showed p-value = 0.00 means pvalue < 0.05. It means thatthere is effect (influence) between the counseling to the knowledge of early teens about danger of Drugs (drugs hazard) In SMAS Babul Maghfirah. Suggestions that can be recommended for researchers to examine the influence of parent’s guidance to the risk of drug usage in the children.
